Over the last two weeks, the students have been highly engaged in our gymnastics unit in physical education. They have been exploring a variety of balances and methods of travel, working to challenge themselves to utilize differing levels such as a low balance such as the splits or a high balance on the balls of their feet. They were extremely excited when they entered the gym on Monday and found the equipment set up. They have had the opportunity to try ropes, ladders, beams and bars. It has been wonderful to see how different each student approaches each piece of equipment.
